This wedding style works well in all sorts of venues, from rustic and quirky to stately and imposing, it can easily be dresssed up and down to suit your personal preference. For a more relaxed version, try mixing centrepieces and types of flower arrangements, keeping the style haphazard and carefree. For a more formal feel, match your centrepieces and use standard frames for items such as menus and table numbers. I have to admit, like most brides in the UK, I am slightly nervous about the weather for our June wedding as previous summers have been something of a washout over recent years. We all dream of a beautiful sunny wedding day without a cloud in the sky so I’ve been considering ways to bring a summery feeling to the wedding despite what the weather may throw at us.
Today’s mood board is a palette of sunny yellows with pale blue accents – guaranteed to bring the summer indoors for your spring or summer wedding! If you are planning an autumn wedding, keep the look warm by swapping the blue hues for soft autumnal browns.
